Description

The China-British Business Council, a UK’s national business network promoting trade and investment with China. This is a corporate website, with a Drupal background, created for the CBBC during my time at Moore-Wilson, one of the biggest web agencies in the UK. I was the lead developer of this project.
It features a bespoke, exclusive tool that injects two separate maps in a page, and draw lines between each, with pixel perfect binding. We had to overcome several technical challenges on this project: from the fact Google Maps doesn’t work in China, so we had to use Leaflet/OpenMap instead. I’ve created the map application as a standalone html/js application for proof of concept, and we later recreated it as a react app with a Drupal backend.
